The Super Falcons of Nigeria are arguably the favorites to win the 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, given they are the most successful team in the history of the competition.

Host Morocco, Zambia, and defending champions South Africa pose a substantial threat to Nigeria’s goal of winning a record 10th continental success.

South Africa, Morocco, and Zambia defeated the Super Falcons in the last edition of the tournament as they finished fourth.

However, former Super Falcons winger Stella Mbachu believes that the team will not lose again en route to winning their 10th title.

Mbachu strongly believes that Nigeria will win all their matches and accomplish the “Mission X” dream.

The ex-winger who was part of Super Falcons’ dominance on the continent in the last decade, made her thoughts known during a sports show on Brila Fm on Sunday.

The Super Falcons will win every game at the WAFCON. They will not lose any game all in the tournament, you will see. They will come home with the trophy.”

Stella Mbachu played for Nigeria between 1999 and 2014 and scored 20 goals in 88 matches.

Nigeria head into the tournament with an impressive run of recent results: a 2-0 win over Cameroon, a goalless draw against Portugal, and a 3-1 victory over Ghana Black Queens in Morocco on Sunday.

The Super Falcons will begin their quest to reclaim their title on Sunday as they take on Tunisia in Casablanca.
