The Copper Queens of Zambia are confident of knocking the Super Falcons out of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
Ahead of the quarter-final fixture on Friday, the Copper Queens stated that they are not afraid of any team in the tournament, including nine-time champions Nigeria.
Zambian left-back Rachael Nachula shared her conviction with Brila Media ahead of the clash on Friday.
“I think we can conquer each and every team; we are not scared of any team. We can not be scared of Nigeria”
The Copper Queens ensured the Super Falcons ended the last edition of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations without a medal, securing a 1-0 victory in the third-place match.
Chiamaka Nnadozie’s unfortunate own goal in the 28th minute gave the Zambian Ladies a famous win over the Super Falcons three years ago.
The Super Falcons are favorites, no doubt, but they face a strong Zambian side led by a prolific striker, Barbra Banda, who has three goals and an assist in three matches.
