Barcelona manager Hansi Flick shared his thoughts on his side’s 4-3 defeat against Inter Milan in the Champions League semi-final second leg tie on Tuesday.
Lautaro Martinez and Hakan Calhanoglu gave Inter Milan a 2-0 lead at half time, but the Blaugrana rallied in the second half. Eric Garcia and Dani Olmo equalized for the visitors before Raphinha gave Barcelona the lead.

Francesco Acerbi then scored a few minutes later to take the match into extra time.
However, Davide Fratessi scored in the first half of extra time to ensure Inter Milan advance to the Champions League final.

Speaking after the game, Flick said Simeone Inzaghi’s men defended well, adding that his men will learn from this and return stronger than ever.
“I am very disappointed that we are out – but I am not disappointed about the performance of my team. They tried everything,” Flick said at his post-match interview.
“We are out, but next year we will start again, and we will make our fans, the club, and everyone around us happy.
“They [Inter Milan] are a really good team, a strong team who defend well, but also they have a really good striker.”
