Super Eagles de facto captain Ahmed Musa is very unlikely to play for the home-based Super Eagles ahead of the Championship of African Nations qualifier against Ghana next month.

Reactions trailed the omission of the forward from Austin Eguavoen’s list for the two-legged qualifier despite playing for Kano Pillars.

Recall that Ahmed Musa rejoined his boyhood club Kano Pillars in October after the terminating his contract with Silvasspor.
