Benjamin Seško has opened up about his decision to snub Arsenal and Newcastle United in favor of joining their Premier League rivals, Manchester United.
The 22-year-old Slovenian, who will sign a contract until June 2030, was heavily linked with Arsenal early in the summer, where he was considered Mikel Arteta’s top striker target.

However, those talks collapsed, and with Sesko expected to stay at RB Leipzig, Newcastle made a late push to bring him to St James’ Park.
Speaking about his choice, Seško emphasized United’s vision and potential.
“The history of Manchester United is obviously very special, but what really excites me is the future,” he said.
“When we discussed the project, it was clear that everything is in place for this team to continue to grow and compete for the biggest trophies again soon.”
Sesko could be unveiled by the Red Devils before their pre-season friendly against Fiorentina on Saturday.
