Wolverhampton Wanderers have submitted a N35 billion (€20 million) bid for Super Eagles midfielder Chrisantus Uche.
Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano says negotiations between Wolves and Getafe are underway as they look to sign the 22-year-old from Getafe before the closure of the transfer window.
Chrisantus Uche has been previously linked to a couple of clubs in the Premier League owing to his impressive performance for Getafe last season.
Uche scored four goals and provided six assists in 33 La Liga matches as he helped Getafe finish 13th on the log.

The midfielder continued from where he left off last season with a goal and assist in Gefafe’s opening game of the new season at Celta Vigo.
His impressive run earned him a call-up to the Super Eagles for the first time in June, where he scored the penalty kick that secured the Unity Cup for the team.
Getafe have a €25 million release clause in Uche’s contract, which expires in 2028. However, the club is reportedly open to offers around €20 million.
Uche joined Getafe in 2024 from AD Ceuta for €500,000 and looks set to join Alex Iwobi, Ola Aina, Calvin Bassey, and Taiwo Awoniyi in the Premier League.
