Coach of Chelsea Football Club, Enzo Maresca, is reportedly open to letting Senegalese striker Nicolas Jackson leave the club ahead of the new football season.
The 24-year-old striker has been linked with a move away from Chelsea this summer, and Maresca’s latest comment on the rumours confirmed that the player can leave once the right offer comes in.
When asked about Nicolas Jackson’s future at the club, Enzo Maresca revealed that he had signed two strikers, and things can change quickly in the transfer market.
“During the window, anything can happen”. “That’s also the case for Nico Jackson. We signed two strikers… let’s see.”

Nicolas Jackson had a rather underwhelming performance at the FIFA Club World Cup in June, as he fell down the pecking order following the arrival of Liam Delap and Joao Pedro, who both had impressive outings en route to Chelsea’s triumph.
Jackson arrived at Chelsea in the 2023 winter transfer window from Villarreal for €37.0 million and scored 32 goals in 84 matches for the Blues in all competitions.
According to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the former Villarreal striker is expected to leave the club this summer, and he has been linked with a move to Manchester United, among other clubs.
Meanwhile, Manchester United are close to reaching an agreement with RB Leipzig for the transfer of 22-year-old Slovenian striker Benjamin Sesko, after submitting a bid of €85 million.
Benjamin Sesko has reportedly agreed on personal terms and a five-year contract with Manchester United as he waits for Leipzig to reach a deal with the Red Devils.
