Super Eagles and Westbrom defender, Semi Ajayi, is now confirmed to be out for 4 months. The injury was confirmed after having an operation on his hamstring this week.

The injury was confirmed by the manager, saying “…the surgery delays things by around two weeks, but it also reduces the risk of the injury reoccurring. returning in about 16 weeks is the approximate time when you have this type of surgery”.

Ajayi’s injury, is a serious blow to the club, as they also have two other defenders out. Paddy McNair is out for six to eight weeks. While experienced defender, Kyle Bartley is also out for four to six weeks.
