Super Falcons striker Ifeoma Onumonu scored her first goal for Montpellier in a 7-0 victory over Guingamp in the Women’s topflight football league in France.
Onumonu opened the floodgates of goals on the 9th minute with a header from Oceane Deslandes’ cross from a corner kick.
The 30-year-old striker joined the French club from Utah Royals in the United States and has featured in four previous matches without a goal.
Camerounian striker Nina Ngueleu doubled the lead for the home side before Lea Khelifi scored a brace in theee minutes to extend the lead.
Ifeoma Onumonu rounded off an impressive outing for Montpellier with an assist for Nina Ngueleu second goal of the match.
The Nigerian stiker came off for Malawian forward Rose Kadzere on the 69th minute.
Rose Kadzere who went on to score the 7th goal for the home side.
