AFCON 2025
Graham Potter has taken over as West Ham manager, replacing Julen Lopetegui, and faces a significant task in turning the team’s season around.
Here are three key priorities for Potter
1. Turn Results Around
West Ham’s inability to win games regularly has been a major issue. Potter must restore the team’s grit and determination to grind out results, especially against lower-ranked teams.
2. Strengthen the Squad
Despite spending over £130million on new signings in the summer, West Ham still lack depth in certain areas, particularly in attack.
Potter must prioritize reinforcements in the January transfer window to address these weaknesses.
3. Shore Up the Defense
West Ham’s defense has been leaky, with a tendency to concede multiple goals in quick succession. Potter must work on improving the team’s defensive solidity and ability to respond to setbacks.
By addressing these three key areas, Potter can begin to turn West Ham’s season around and restore the team’s fortunes.
