Nigerian footballer Victor Osimhen, currently on loan at Galatasaray, has been accused of assaulting a journalist in Istanbul.

Osimhen’s friends intervened, advising the photographers against such unprofessional behavior. Osimhen emphasized that he did not physically assault anyone; instead, he requested that the unauthorized photos be deleted, asserting his right to control his image.
Osimhen also announced plans to pursue legal action against the journalist for defamation. He stated, “If I hit him, he will get justice. If he’s lying, he will face the consequences. I will take the necessary legal steps to ensure the truth prevails.”
