Goals Galore in German Bundesliga as Bayer Leverkusen keep title chase alive with late win.

Matchday 28 of the German Bundesliga witnessed a lot of goals across the different match centers on Saturday afternoon.

Stuttgart recorded the biggest win as The Reds smashed Bochum 4-0 away from home.

Ermedin Demirovic scored his 11th, 12th, and 13th goals of the season as he bagged a hat trick in the convincing win.

Borussia Dortmund also secured a big win away from home. The Black Yellows smashed Freiburg 4-1 to stay within the range of securing a ticket to Europe next season.

Karim Adeyemi, Serhou Guirassy, Carney Chukwuemeka, and 20-year-old English forward Jamie Gittens got on the scoresheet in the road victory.

In other results, Leipzig bagged maximum points over Gift Orban’s Hoffenheim with a 3-1 home win. The Super Eagles winger came on as a second-half substitute but couldn’t rescue his side from defeat.

Bayer Leverkusen

Meanwhile, defending champions Bayer Leverkusen waited till the added time of regular time to steal a late winner at Heidenheim.

Emiliano Buendia came on as a second-half substitute to grab the winner for Bayer Leverkusen.

Bayer Leverkusen are six points behind league leaders Bayer Munich. The 33-time champions have 68 points.

Eintracht Frankfurt suffered a setback in their chase for a Champions League as they lost away at Werder Bremen.

Scottish striker Oliver Burke and Austrian midfielder Romano Schmid scored in each half to give the home side the win on Saturday evening.

The loss means Eintracht Frankfurt is just two points ahead of Mainz in fourth place on the log.
