The Super Eagles of Nigeria completed their second training session in Novgorod on Sunday as preparations continue for their upcoming fixtures.
A total of 18 players took part in the session, with the coaching staff working across all departments as the team continued its preparations in camp.
Goalkeepers Stanley Nwabali, Samuel James and Atata Michael were involved, while Kenneth Igboke, Isaac James, Benjamin Fredricks, Emmanuel Fernandez and Abdullahi Bewene formed the defensive group.
In midfield, Chibuzo Nwoke, Stephen Michael, Igor Wilfred and Aderemi Adeoye featured, while the attacking unit consisted of Moses Simon, Akor Adams, Kelechi Iheanacho, Umar Abubakar, Peter Edokpolor and Umar Abdullai.
The session provided another opportunity for the technical crew to assess the players’ fitness, sharpness and overall readiness ahead of the team’s upcoming engagements.
Further training sessions are expected in Novgorod as the Super Eagles continue their build-up and preparations for competitive action.
