Napoli held firm despite flares and delays to earn a hard-fought 1-0 win over Lecce, keeping them top of Serie A.

Giacomo Raspadori’s 24th-minute free-kick secured the win, keeping Napoli three points ahead of Inter Milan, who won 1-0 at Hellas Verona. Napoli need seven points from three games to clinch their second title in three years.
“We’re on track,” said coach Antonio Conte. “Winning writes history.”
Inter keep pressure on
Inter, with 10 lineup changes ahead of their Champions League clash with Barcelona, beat Verona 1-0 via Kristjan Asllani’s ninth-minute penalty.
The win snapped a five-game winless streak, while Verona stays six points clear of the drop.
Inter’s first win in six matches followed a dismal run that shattered its dreams of a treble as it was beaten by AC Milan in the Italian Cup semifinals and lost two Serie A matches on the bounce.
Elsewhere, Parma’s bid for safety stalled with a 1-0 loss to Como, Gabriel Strefezza scoring in the 79th. Parma are now six points above relegation. Cagliari, a point behind, lost 2-1 to Udinese, keeping them in danger.
