The Junior DTigress of Nigeria will face Hungary in the second round of the FIBA Under-19 World Cup in Czech Republic.
After consecutive losses in their final group match, the Nigerian ladies will seek redemption over the Hungarians on Wednesday.
The Junior DTigress started marked their debut in the tournament with a 93-88 win over China on Saturday.
However, the debutants suffered a huge loss to two-time Bronze medalist Canada. The Canadians blew apart the Junior DTigress by 71 points as the tie ended 113-42.
Portugal got the better of Nigeria in the final group match on Tuesday with a 19-point victory to to finish second behind Canada.
Hungary also have a 2-1 scoreline after three matches in the group stage with their only loss against defending champions USA.
The Junior DTigress will hope to create another upset like they did against China on their opening match for a place on the last eight of the competition.
