Tottenham Hotspur manager, Thomas Frank has left out Yves Bissouma from his match day squad for the UEAFA Super Cup clash against Paris Saint-Germain.
The Malian midfielder is not injured nor suspended but won’t have a medal regardless of the outcome of the match on Wednesday night.
When asked why the former Brighton Hove and Albion midfielder was left out, Thomas Frank revealed he has been late to trainings severally.
“He’s been late several times and now this latest time was one too many. There needs to be demands and consequences. This time there was a consequence.”
Yves Bissouma has been training with the rest of the squad in preparation for the match but won’t travel with the team to Udine, Italy.
Tottenham Hotspur, the reigning champions of the UEFA Europa League will take on Champions League holders in Udine, Italy on Wednesday night.
Tottenham Hotspur’s quartet of James Madison, Dejan Kulusevski , Radu Dragusin and Bryan Gil are also out not for latecomings but injuries.
