Fulham defender Calvin Bassey expressed frustration over Manchester United’s controversial goal in their 1-1 Premier League draw at Craven Cottage on Sunday.
Leny Yoro’s 58th-minute header, which deflected off Rodrigo Muniz for an own goal, followed a VAR-reviewed incident where Bassey claimed Yoro pushed him.

“It’s a foul. He pushed me to stop me from getting to the ball,” Bassey told Sky Sports.
“When the ref looks back on it, he will be disappointed. I can’t say too much before I get a fine.”
Earlier, Bruno Fernandes missed a penalty after Bassey’s foul on Mason Mount, adding to the officiating controversy.
Substitute Emile Smith Rowe’s 73rd-minute equalizer secured a point for Fulham, who were the better side on the day, and felt VAR should have disallowed United’s goal.
Manager Marco Silva echoed Bassey’s sentiments, calling it a “clear foul.”
The result means United have now failed to win any of their opening two games of the season, with pressure slowly mounting on Ruben Amorim.
