Victor Osimhen delivered a sensational performance for Galatasaray on Friday night, starring in their commanding 4-0 victory over Erzurum FK in the Turkish Süper Lig.
The Nigeria international was directly involved in three of Galatasaray’s four goals, scoring twice and providing an assist during an impressive 90-minute display.
Galatasaray took the lead in the 12th minute when Roland Sallai found the back of the net. Osimhen then turned provider eight minutes later, setting up Yunus Akgün to double the champions’ advantage.
The 27-year-old striker got on the scoresheet himself just before half-time, giving Galatasaray a comfortable 3-0 lead at the break.
Osimhen completed his brace in the 80th minute, with Gabriel Sara providing the assist to round off another outstanding individual performance.
The display takes Osimhen’s league tally to four goals and one assist in just two appearances for the Turkish champions this season.
With the Nigerian striker already firing on all cylinders, Galatasaray will be hoping his rich vein of form continues as they look to defend their league title.
