Ademola Lookaman continues terrific form in Atalanta’s win at Stuttgart

Ademola Lookaman continued his terrific goalscoring form for Atalanta as the Bergamo side beat Stuggart away from home.

The Super Eagles strike was on the scoreshet and put up another impressive performance as La Dea secured a comfortable 2 nil win away ay Stuttgart.

The first half was quite cagey as both sides tried to control the game but it was Atalanta who came close to scoring the opener.

Mateo Retegui’s well-placed header in added time of first half almost went in but Alexander Nubel made a brilliant save to keep the scoreline goalless at halftime.

However, Ademola Lookman finally broke tge deadlock ten minutes after retart as the tapped the ball into an empty net from Charles De Ketelaere’s pass.

The second half was keenly contested as both sides created plethora of chances. While the home side had 6 shots on target, Atlanta had 4 as they tried to extend their lead.

The match eventually ended 2 nil as Nicolo Zaniolo scored in added time to seal victory for Gian Piero Gasperini’s side.

Ademola Lookman now has 13  goal involvements in 12 matches for Atalanta so far this season.

The 27-year-old has 8 goals, 4 assists in 8 matches in the league and 2 goals and an assist in 4 matches in the UEFA Champions League.
