Former Inter Milan striker Christian Vieri has endorsed his former club’s pursuit of Atalanta winger Ademola Lookman.
Inter are actively negotiating with Atalanta for the Nigerian star, who currently holds the title of African Footballer of the Year.

Reports indicate that Lookman is eager to join the Nerazzurri at the San Siro. Inter are prepared to offer around €40 million for the dynamic winger, though Atalanta are holding firm for a higher fee.
Vieri dismissed concerns about Lookman’s age, emphasizing his ability to elevate the team.
“Lookman has the experience, it’s a different story: he’s someone who makes the difference, he changes matches. Someone like Lookman should always be signed, if possible,” Vieri told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Lookman is widely regarded as one of Serie A’s best players, and there is a strong belief that the 28-year-old deserves to move to a bigger club.
His standout performance in Atalanta’s UEFA Europa League triumph two seasons ago, where he scored a stunning hat-trick in the final against Bayer Leverkusen, cemented his reputation as a game-changer.
