Inter Milan have emerged as frontrunners to sign Atalanta’s star forward Ademola Lookman this summer, according to Corriere dello Sport.
The 27-year-old Nigerian international, who rejoined Atalanta for pre-season training on Tuesday, has also attracted interest from Juventus, Arsenal, Barcelona, and Atletico Madrid.
Atalanta are open to letting Lookman depart but are holding firm on a €50 million valuation, while Inter are prepared to offer €35 million, hoping to negotiate a lower fee as Lookman’s contract nears its final year in 2026.
The Nerazzurri see him as a prime replacement for Mehdi Taremi, who has drawn attention from Fulham and Besiktas after a lackluster season.

Lookman’s stellar performances, including 20 goals in 40 appearances last season, have made him one of Europe’s most sought-after players.
Recent reports suggest Inter have reached an agreement on personal terms with Lookman, with Sky Sport indicating the club is ready to push forward with a €40 million offer, regardless of Taremi’s exit.
However, Atletico Madrid remain a serious contender, having held talks with Atalanta, while Arsenal and Napoli are also monitoring the situation.
