Ademola Lookman, Iwobi others en route to Abidjan for Benin clash! (Video)

Super Eagles players are already en eoute to Abidjan, the capital city of Cote D’Ivoire ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Benin Republic.

In a video Alex Iwobi shared on his Snapchat account, Calvin Bassey, Ademola Lookman and Ola Aina were seen joking as they settle into their seats.

Alex Iwobi was heard teasing Ademola Lookaman as he called him “Africa’s best” in reference to his nomination for the 2024 CAF Men’s Player of the Year award.

The Atalanta forward has been in imperious form in 2024 as he helped Nigeria tona second place finish at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote D’IVoire with 3 goals and an assist.

Lookman also led Atalanta to their first European title in May as he bagged a hattrick in the 3-0 win over Victor Boniface’s Bayer Leverkusen.

The quartet are expected to arrive Abidjan later today as the Super Eagles prepare to take on the Cheetars on Thursday.
