The Super Eagles winger is among a list of 22 forwards across the world who have done significantly well in the year under review.
Ademola Lookman had a brolliant individual season in 2024 for his clubside Atalanta as the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
The 27-year-old led the Italian side to their first European Cup success in May as Atalanta beat Bayer Leverkusen 3-0 in the final in Dublin in May.
The Nigerian striker was the star performer on the night as he bagged a hattrick – the first player to do so in the history of the competition.
Lookman scored 5 goals and provided an assist en route to Gian Piero Gasperini’s Atalanta’s historic European triumph.
The wide forward scored 17 goals in 45 matches across all competitions for Atalanta as he marked a remarkable season in Europe.
Lookaman was also pivotal for the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote D’Ivoire.
The forward scored 3 goals and provided an assist en route to Nigeria’s second place finish in the competition.
Ademola Lookman has started the current season on a brilliant note with 9 goals, 5 assists in 14 matches.
