Senegal legend Aliou Cisse has named the Super Eagles among the favourites to win the title at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
The AFCON 2025 finals will get underway in Morocco next month.
The Super Eagles will be gunning for a fourth title in the North African country.
Cisse listed Nigeria, his nation Senegal and three other countries among the favourites to win the coveted title.

“The Moroccan national team is a contender, and Senegal is also a contender, of course, and there are other teams such as Algeria, Egypt and Nigeria,” Cisse told WinWin.
The Super Eagles are drawn in Group C with Tanzania, Tunisia and Uganda.
Eric Chelle’s side will take on the Taifa Stars of Tanzania in their opening fixture in Fez on Tuesday, 23 December.
