Morocco and Nigeria played out a goalless draw in a closely contested Group C match at the CAF U-20 Africa Cup of Nations.
The game, held at the 30 June Air Defence Stadium, was physical and tactical, with few clear-cut chances.
Morocco missed two key headers in the second half, while Nigeria threatened with a long-range shot and a header. Frequent fouls, injuries, and substitutions disrupted the game’s rhythm.
Both teams remain in contention for a knockout stage spot, which will be decided in their final group matches.
In the other match of the day, Tunisia came from behind to defeat Kenya 3-1 in their second Group B match in Cairo.
After falling behind to a 38th-minute goal by Kenya’s Lawrence Ouma, Tunisia equalized before halftime through a Farès Bousnina penalty awarded via VAR.

In the second half, substitutes Omar Ben Ali and Alaeddine Derbali scored to complete the comeback, securing Tunisia’s first win of the tournament.
Kenya, despite a strong start, faded in the second half and remain winless after two games. Tunisia now have three points, keeping Group B wide open.
