Akor Adams scored his seventh league goal of the season in Sevilla’s one-all draw at home to Real Vellecano.
Adams put the host ahead with a fine header in the 13th minute from Caesar Azpilicueta’s cross from the right flank.
Sevilla took the lead into the first half break with little or no chances at goal following Akor Adams’ opener.
Unfortunately, the his goal wasn’t enough to give the Rojiblancos the win as the visitors restored parity through Uruguayan defender Pacha in the 50th minute.
Pacha latched on to a perfect pass from Fran Perez before striking the ball into the net from the edge of the box.
Meanwhile, Akor Adams was replaced by Argentine forward Isaac Romero after the hour mark.
The match ended 1-1 as Rayo Vallecano and Sevilla remain in the bottom half of the table occupying the 12th and 13th positions with 31 points respectively.
