Premier League leaders, Arsenal tighten their grip on the top spot of the Champions League league phase after matchday six of the competition.

The Gunners travelled to Brugge in Belgium and brushed the club aside in front of their home fans in a comfortable road win on Wednesday night.

Former Chelsea forward, Noni Madueke scored twice, including a stunner, in the 3-0 victory to help Arsenal maintain unbeaten run and winning streak in the competition after six round of matches.

Super Eagles’ Raphael Onyedika was on for 74 minutes and had a fair game but couldn’t help his side avoid defeat against Arteta’s blistering Arsenal who showed no sign of weakness after last weekend’s  heartbreak at Villa Park.

Arsenal are the only team unbeaten and yet to.drop a point in the Champions League this season as they top the league phase table with 18 points after six games.

Meanwhile, Pep Guardiola might have ended the career of his former player, Xabi Alonso as manager of Real Madrid after Manchester City handed the hosts another loss in a space of three days at the Bernabeu.
