Arsenal are back on the summit of the Premier League after a narrow win over Everton at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

The Gunners had earlier dropped to second spot following Manchester City’s 3-0 win over Westham United at the Etihad Stadium.

However, Viktor Gyokores’ penalty just before the half-hour mark made the difference on the night as Mikel Arteta’s men secured a 1-0 victory over Everton.

Arsenal are back on top of the Premier League table as they lead Manchester City with two points heading into Christmas.

In other results, Liverpool seem to back on track after a disastrous October/November phase.

With Mohammed Salah off to AFCON, the Reds showed no sign of weakness as they compounded Tottenham Hotspur’s terrible home form in the league.

Alexander Isak and Hugo Ekitike found the back of the net in the second half as Arne Slot’s men sealed a 2-1 win away from home.

Meanwhile, Chelsea’s topsy-turvy form in the league came to bare once again. The Blues were starring at defeat in the first-half they fell to a 2-0 deficit.

Nick Woltermade, the German red-hot striker did the damage as Chelsea were in sixes and sevens in the first forty-five minutes.

However, Enzo Mareeca’s men woke up from their slumber in the second half as they forced the hosts to a two-all draw.

Captain of the side, Reece James and João Pedro got on the score sheet to help the Blues gain a point at the St. James’ Park.

Reece James scored from a sublime free-kick in the 49th minute to bring Chelsea into the game while João Pedro restored parity after he was left one-on-one with the goalkeeper.
