Asisat Oshoala and Bay FC have made history by securing a playoff berth in their inaugural NWSL season.
The Nigerian superstar has been instrumental in the team’s success, contributing significantly to their impressive run. Oshoala, who joined Bay FC from European champions Barcelona, has been in action in her debut NWSL season, tallying seven goals and one assist over 25 games, making her Bay FC’s top scorer.
The San Francisco-based club, which debuted in the NWSL as an expansion team in the 2024 season, recorded 11 wins in 26 matches to finish 7th on the log with 34 points, securing a spot in the playoffs, where they will face Washinton Spirits on Sunday, November 10, 2024.
