Arsenal have agreed to the deal for the signing of Real Sociedad Spanish midfielder Martin Zubimendi ahead of the summer transfer window.
Fabrizio Romano, the football transfer expert, confirmed the development in a tweet on Saturday morning.
According to him, Zubimendi will sign a long-term contract and Arsenal are in the process of triggering his €60m release clause.

Maryin Zubimendi is Mikel Arteta’s first signing of the new football season as he looks to strengthen his midfield options while the hunt for a striker continues.
The Euro 2024 winner, has 44 appearances for Real Sociedad this season, with two goals and an assist.
The 26-year-old midfielder is set to be officially announced as a new Arsenal player in the days, weeks ahead.
