Nico Gonzalez is Manchester City’s latest addition as the former Barcelona midfielder becomes Pep Guardiola’s fourth winter transfer signing.
Gonzalez joins Manchester City for €60 million which brings Manchester City spendings for the January transfer window to €212 million.
The versatile midfielder becomes Pep Guardiola’s signing this winter to four following the arrival of Vitor Reis (Palmeiras, €37 million), Abdukodir Khusanov (Lens, €40 million), and Omar Marmoush (Eintracht Frankfurt, €75 million).

Nico Gonzalez is a two-way midfielder with abilities to play from deep as well as centrally and as an attacking midfielder.
The 23-year-old is seen as a replacement for injured Spanish midfielder Rodri who has been on the sidelines since November.
Gonzalez has six goals, five assists in 26 appearances for FC Porto this season.
The deal will also see Barcelona earn a 40% sell on clause from the €60 million pay cheque.
