Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur have sacked Igor Tudor as head coach of the men’s first team.
Tottenham Hotspur confirmed the sacking of the former Juventus manager via a post on its official social media pages.
The North London club acknowledged Igor Tudor’s recent bereavement as he leaves the club after a 44-day tenure.
We can confirm that it has been mutually agreed for Head Coach Igor Tudor to leave the Club with immediate effect.
Tomislav Rogic and Riccardo Ragnacci have also left their respective roles of Goalkeeping Coach and Physical Coach.
We thank Igor, Tomislav, and Riccardo for their efforts over the past six weeks, during which they worked tirelessly. We also acknowledge the bereavement that Igor has recently suffered and send our support to him and his family at this difficult time.
An update on a new Head Coach will be provided in due course.
Tudor becomes the third manager to be sacked by Tottenham Hotspur this season following the departures of Ange Postecoglou and Thomas Frank most recently.
Igor Tudor managed seven matches across all competitions and recorded five losses, one win and a draw.
Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur, with seven matches left in the Premier League are threatened with relegation as they are currently 17th with 30 points.
The reigning Europa League champions will take on Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on resumption of club football this weekend.
