Brighton & Hove Albion are stepping up their efforts to sign Millwall winger Femi Azeez before the close of the summer transfer window.
The Nigeria international has attracted strong interest following an impressive 2025/26 campaign in the Sky Bet Championship, where he established himself as one of Millwall’s standout performers.
Azeez, 25, scored 11 goals and provided seven assists in 37 league appearances for the Lions last season, earning a place in the Championship Team of the Season.
According to The Athletic, Brighton are determined to complete a deal for the winger before the transfer deadline.
The Seagulls have already had two bids rejected by Millwall, with their latest proposal understood to be worth around £10 million, including add-ons.
Brighton are expected to return with an improved offer as they attempt to convince Millwall to sell one of their key attacking players.
Azeez’s performances have also brought him into the Super Eagles picture. He made his Nigeria debut at the Unity Cup earlier this year, scoring twice against Zimbabwe and providing an assist against Jamaica.
With the transfer window approaching its deadline, Brighton’s pursuit could provide Azeez with an opportunity to make the step up from the Championship to the Premier League.
