Super Falcons goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie, received a warm welcome as she joined her new teammates at Brighton & Hove Albion Women’s Football Club for the first time, on the back of helping Nigeria win their record 10th title.
Nnadozie was given a standing ovation as she was introduced to the team and congratulated for her contributions to Nigeria’s victory.
Brighton & Hove Albion Women posted a video clip of Nnadozie being welcomed to the team on their official X page on Thursday.
The 24-year-old goalkeeper had a brilliant outing in the 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations as she kept four clean sheets in six matches and went on to clinch the Golden Glove award as best goalkeeper of the tournament.
Nnadozie was in goal as the Super Falcons turned Morocco’s two-goal lead around to secure a 3-2 victory in a thrilling final at the Rabat Olympic Stadium last month.
Chiamaka Nnadozie joined Brighton & Hove Albion this summer after a five-year stint at Paris FC, where she helped the club win the 2024/2025 Coupe de France Féminine.
Nnadozie is in contention to win the Women’s Yachine Trophy for women’s goalkeeper of the year at the 2025 Ballon d’Or awards.
