Nigeria vs Iran: Three Iranian Players Who Could Hurt Nigeria

The Bundesliga delivered a day of upsets and expected dominance on Saturday, dramatically shifting the early standings.

League leaders Bayern Munich snapped their losing streak by fighting back to defeat struggling St. Pauli 3-1 at home. The goals came from Raphaël Guerreiro, Luis Díaz, and Nicolas Jackson. Despite not scoring, Harry Kane maintains his lead in the Golden Boot race with 14 league goals.

However, the major shock came from the heavyweight clash: Borussia Dortmund defeated Bayer Leverkusen 2-1, securing a massive three points and handing Leverkusen a rare home defeat. This result pushes Dortmund up the table while keeping Leverkusen out of the Champions League qualification places.

Elsewhere, Hoffenheim climbed closer to the European spots with a convincing 3-0 victory over Augsburg. Meanwhile, Union Berlin suffered a disappointing 1-2 home loss to Heidenheim. The day’s only draw came from the mid-table clash between Werder Bremen and FC Köln, which ended 1-1.
