AFCON 2025
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has unveiled the top five nominees for the different categories of the upcoming CAF Awards 2024.
Atalanta and Nigeria forward, Ademola Lookman leads the list of nominees after an incredible season, winning the Europa League and getting to the AFCON final.
Other nominees on the list include Simon Adingra (Cote d’Ivoire and Brighton & Hove Albion), Serhou Guirassy (Guinea and Borussia Dortmund) , Achraf Hakimi (Morocco and Paris Saint-Germain) and Ronwen Williams (South Africa and Mamelodi Sundowns).
Lookman has been tipped to win the top individual prize rewarding a great season in which he also placed 14th on the list of Ballon D’Or nominees.
The prestigious ceremony is scheduled to take place in Marrakech, Morocco, on 16 December, 2025.
