AC Milan and Super Eagles winger, Samuel Chukwueze has demonstrated heartfelt generosity towards his family and hometown community in Abia State with a series of impactful gestures.
On Tuesday, June 11, 2025, Chukwueze unveiled a magnificent nine-bedroom mansion worth ₦465 million for his father, Reverend John Chukwueze, in Umu Chimaelu, Okoko Item, Bende Local Government Area.

The grand event drew widespread admiration from relatives, friends, and well-wishers who gathered to celebrate the footballer’s success and benevolence.
Built on the family’s ancestral land, the imposing edifice boasts modern features, luxury fittings, and ample space suitable for family living and hospitality. The gesture moved Reverend Chukwueze to tears, as he reflected on the family’s difficult past.

“I cried today because I remember when I had nothing and could not provide for my children,” Reverend Chukwueze told ABN TV.
“Then, I distanced myself from them—not because I didn’t love them—but because I felt ashamed that I couldn’t give them the life they deserved.
Today, Samuel has brought pride, joy, and hope to this family.”

Beyond building a home for his father, the former Villarreal star extended his goodwill to the wider community. He donated 20 brand-new tricycles (Keke NAPEP) to support local youths and small businesses, awarded educational scholarships to deserving students, and made cash donations to the less privileged—acts that were met with widespread praise.
Chukwueze, who rose to fame after helping Nigeria win the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Chile under coach Emmanuel Amuneke, is a product of Diamond Football Academy, where he trained from 2012 to 2017. He launched his professional career in Europe with Spanish side Villarreal before making a high-profile move to Serie A giants AC Milan.
Chukwueze’s touching acts of charity have not only uplifted his family but also left a lasting impact on his community—marking him as not just a football star, but a beacon of hope and inspiration in Abia State.
