1. Enzo Maresca’s tactical improvement
Maresca’s tactical nous gives Chelsea an edge. He has shown the ability to be pragmatic and adventurous when needed. Whether employing a 4-3-3 or a 4-2-3-1, the Italian tactician has shown he can find solutions.
The Blues will need to be defensively sound against a team that can cause serious damage, but as Maresca showed throughout this competition, he can find answers.
2. Cole Palmer’s X-Factor
Cole Palmer may not be scoring in bunches like he did last season, but he has shown an ability to create on the highest level.
Playing behind either Liam Delap or Joao Pedro, Palmer has the licence to roam around and find pockets of space where he can do damage. If there’s one player with the skill to hurt this PSG team, Palmer is that player.
3. Chelsea’s Hunger as Underdogs

Theres no doubt that Chelsea are underdogs here, but maybe that could work to their advantage. Most people have written them off but they have history of beating the odds, like they did in 2012 against Bayern Munich, and 2021 against Manchester City.
