Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., the 14-year-old son of football legend Cristiano Ronaldo, has marked a significant milestone in his budding career by scoring his first international goals for Portugal’s Under-15 team.
The young forward netted a brace in the final of the Vlatko Markovic International Tournament against host nation Croatia, leading Portugal to a 3-2 victory and securing the tournament title.
Wearing his father’s iconic No. 7 jersey, Ronaldo Jr. opened the scoring in the 13th minute with a powerful left-footed shot that struck the crossbar before finding the net.
He celebrated the goal with his father’s signature “Siu” celebration, drawing cheers from the crowd. Later in the first half, he added a second goal with a well-placed header, showcasing his aerial prowess.
Despite Croatia equalizing twice, a late goal from Rafael Cabral secured the win for Portugal. This performance comes just days after Ronaldo Jr. made his international debut as a substitute in a 4-1 victory over Japan.
Cristiano Ronaldo Sr., currently playing for Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia, expressed his pride on social media, congratulating his son on his achievements.
The elder Ronaldo has previously spoken about his desire to one day share the pitch with his son, though he acknowledges the challenges posed by age and physical limits.
