Crystal Palace have initiated talks with Brentford over a potential deal to bring Nigerian midfielder Frank Onyeka to Selhurst Park.
According to Africa Foot, the Eagles have pinpointed the 27-year-old as a top priority for the summer transfer window, with plans to table a £10m bid.

While it’s uncertain if Brentford will accept, they are likely to consider offers for a player whose contract runs until 2027.
Onyeka was impressive during his loan at Augsburg, starting 25 of 26 Bundesliga games this season and becoming a vital part of their defensive setup.
His tackling ranks him in the top 10 for tackles won in Germany’s top flight in 2024/25, per Bref. At Palace, he’d compete with Cheick Doucouré, Jefferson Lerma, Will Hughes, and Adam Wharton, though the latter’s potential exit continues to spark rumors.
Palace kick off their Premier League campaign against Chelsea this weekend, and Onyeka could be a key addition.
