Early beginnings
Oyindamola Oluwatobi Peter Ajayi was born born 27 December 2005 and is a striker for Tottenham Hotspur. Ajayi, progressed from Bromley’s youth system to join Tottenham’s academy in 2022.
He signed his first pro contract in January 2024 and was promoted to the U21 side. By the summer of 2024, Ajayi began training with Tottenham’s senior team.
Is Damola Ajayi Eligible to play for Nigeria?
Ajayi was born in England to Nigerian parents, so he is eligible to represent both countries. However, at this moment in time, he is yet to commit to either country as he focuses on taking advantage of his chances in the Spurs first team, to establish himself as a starter under Postecoglou.
