The final Old Firm derby of the Scottish Premiership season ended in a fiercely contested 1-1 draw at Ibrox Stadium.
Rangers opened the scoring just before halftime through Cyriel Dessers, while Celtic equalised early in the second half via Adam Idah, with both teams unable to find a winner despite a dramatic and eventful finish.
Rangers made a strong start and nearly opened the scoring within the first minute. A corner from captain James Tavernier was met by Balogun, whose powerful header struck the crossbar. Cerny also came close moments later with a deflected shot that forced a save from Celtic goalkeeper Viljami Sinisalo.
The hosts thought they had taken the lead in the 25th minute when Raskin headed home another Tavernier delivery, but the goal was ruled out after a VAR check confirmed an offside in the buildup.
In the closing moments of the first half, Rangers broke the deadlock with a swift counter-attack.

Diomande surged forward from a Celtic corner and played a perfectly timed pass to Dessers, who took a couple of touches before slotting a calm, low finish into the net—his 25th goal of the season.
Celtic came out strong in the second half and found their equaliser in the 57th minute. Maeda delivered a ball into the box from the left, which deflected and fell kindly to Idah, who fired a powerful strike past Kelly. Although initially ruled out for offside, the goal was eventually awarded after another VAR check.

In the closing stages, both teams had opportunities to snatch a late winner. Balogun couldn’t direct a header on target from a free-kick, while Maeda posed a threat on the counter but was stopped by Rangers’ defense.
After seven minutes of added time, the match ended level, with both sides sharing the points in an intense and evenly matched derby.
