Bryne’s goalkeeper, Jan De Boer, received four crates of eggs for his fantastic performance against Bodo Glimt in the Norwegian league.
Despite conceding a goal in the match, Jan De Boer received the Man of the Match award only that it was something astonishing different.
He saved a penalty and made a couple of saves as Bodo Glimt won 1-0 at Bryne on Sunday.
De Boer gracefully posed with his four crates of eggs after the match to the surprise of fans in the stadium.
The 24-year-old goalkeeper joined Bryne from VVV Venlo this year and has been impressive with a clean sheet in his first two matches for the club.
Had a player in the Nigeria Premier Football League received De Boer’s prize, it would have made economic sense given the hike in price of the commodity at the momthe ent in the country.
