Estêvão’s late strike sink Liverpool at Stamford Bridge as Manchester United, Arsenal Tottenham cruise to victories.

Chelsea handed Liverpool their third consecutive defeat in all competitions to further compound the woes of Arne Slot’s men.

The Reds looked jaded and out of sort for most part of the first half as Moises Caicedo powered a thunderbolt strike to give the Blues the lead.

Chelsea went into the break with the slim lead while Arne Slot’s men off the defeat to Galatasaray’s in the Champions League played without conviction.

Cody Gakpo, against the run of play, received a ball from Alexander Isak in the box before powering a shot into the roof of the net.

The introduction of Brazilian winger Estêvão changed the game as the 18-year-old forward scored in the added time of the 90 to give Chelsea the win.

Meanwhile, Manchester United won three consecutive home games for the first time since August 2023 as the Red Devils beat Sunderland.

Ruben Amorim’s men were untouchable in the first 40 minutes of action as they completely dominated possession.

Mason Mount scored scored with a composed finish from Bryan Mbeumo’s pass while Benjamin Sesko doubled the lead afterwards to register his second goal of the season.

Sunderland’s Robin Roefs parried Bruno Fernandes’s attempt to add to Manchester United’s lead off the bar as the Red Devils played the Black Cats off the park in the first half.

The second half was an anticlimax as the visitors resulted into a back five limiting Amorim’s men attacking threats.

Manchester United new goalkeeper Senne Lammens made his debut and ensured the Red Devils kept a clean sheet as he made decisive saves towards the end of the tie.

Arsenal recorded their fourth consecutive win with a comfortable 2-0 win Nuno Espirito Santo’s Westham United.

Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka scored in each halve of the tie as the Gunners kept another clean sheet as they head into the international break.

Tottenham Hotspur started the day with comfortable win over Leeds United at Ellan Road in the early kick off.

Mohammed Kudus scored his first Premier League for Tottenham in the 2-1 victory. The Ghanian winger also provided Mathys Tel with the assist for the openee raising his tally to four in seven matches.
