Victor Osimhen’s goal secured a point for Galatasaray as the Turkish Champions played a one-all draw away at AZ Alkmaar.
The Super Eagles striker equalized for Galatasaray a few minutes before halftime after the home side took an early lead.
Dries Mertens fine cross into the box found Osimhen and the talisman headed the ball home from close range.
Osimhen’s celebration was halted initially but his goal was eventually given after a VAR review.
Galatasaray tried to get the winner in the second half with 3 shots on target but Jeroen Zoet stood firm in between the sticks for the Dutch side.
The match ended 1-1 as Galatasaray maintain their unbeaten run in the competition so far.
Osimhen’s goal on the night is his third in the competition this season after four matches.
