Flying Eagles’ Daniel Daga reveals football role model, favorite food, music after move to Molde

The former Enyimba midfielder shared insights on who models his game on, his favorite food and genre of music in an interview with his new club

Daniel Daga is settling down into life at his new club Molde after sealing a move from One Rocket Academy.

The 18-year-old midfielder sat with the media team of Molde after his unveiling on saturday to answer some football and non-football related questions. 

Daga, when asked who his football role model is, the Flying Eagles midfielder says he loves Tottenham Hotspur and Malian midfielder Yves Bissouma..

He also added that he admires former Chelsea and French midfielder N’Golo Kante.

He says he loves Kante because of his tackles and ball-winning abilities while he admires Bissouma’s ability to progress the ball from the deep.

When asked what his favorite food his, Daga was quick to mention jollof rice and chicken.

Daniel Daga revealed that he’s a Christian as he prefers worship songs to secular music.

Daga says coming to Molde is a big step for him and he hopes to win trophies with the club..

The 18-year-old midfielder had an 18-month stint with Enyimba after the FIFA Under-20 World Cup in Colombia in 2023.

He also represented Nigeria at the 2023 African Games football event where the Flying Eagles failed to make it out of the group stage.

Daniel Daga had his first training session with the Molde on Saturday as he prepares for a new step in his career.
