The Nigerian midfielder, 28, who is currently enjoying a fine run of form played a key role in the move that led to the goal that secured all three points for Fulham.
The Cottagers trailed by a Vitaly Janelt goal in the 24th minute before substitute, Harry Wilson scored a brace late into additional time sparking wild celebrations inside Craven Cottage.
Iwobi played the full 90 minutes alongside compatriot, Calvin Bassey who was a rock in defence.
