Brentford’s last home game of the 2024/2025 Premier League season ended on a bitter note at the GTech Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The Bees, despite going into the break with a 2-1 lead fell apart in the second half as Marco Silva masterminded a comeback win.
Fulham’s Emile Smith-Rowe powered a left-footed strike towards goal in the early stage of the match but Mark Flekken dived to the ground quickly to deny the former Arsenal man.
Moments later, Raul Jimenez met Adama Traore’s cross with a precise header to put the visitors ahead.
Fulham’s lead only lasted for a few minutes as Bryan Mbuemo received Yoan Wissa’s pass, dashed into the box before releasing a brilliant strike into the net.

Unfortunately, the Camerounian winger failed to put Brentford ahead three minutes later as he missed a penalty.
Yoan Wissa put Brentford ahead in the match with a simple finsh just two minutes before the halftime break.
Marco Silva made a few changes in the second half as Alex Iwobi and Emile Smith-Rowe made way for Harry Wilson and Joshua King respectively.
Sander Berge also came off for Tom Cairney to add more attacking bite for the Cottagers.
The changes paid off moments later as Tom Cairney equalized from a header in the 68th minute.
Harry Wilson with acres of space in front of him powered a rocket-like strike into the nack of the net to give Fulham the lead.
Bryan Mbuemo’s appeal for another penalty was waved off late in the game as Brentford sought for an equalizer.
Bernd Leno made a glorious save late in the match to stop Christian Noorgard’s header from crossing the goalline as Fulham left the GTech Stadium with maximum points.
