Galatasaray are reportedly planning to push for the signing of Ademola Lookman in the January transfer window, with the Turkish giants hoping to align him alongside Victor Osimhen in attack.
The club see this as a strategic move to bolster their forward options, as they aim to go as far as possible in the UEFA Champions League.
According to reports from Turkish outlet Fanatik, Lookman remains a top target for Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk, who was eager to bring him to Istanbul before the previous deal fell through.
The potential reunion would also serve another purpose: further strengthening Galatasaray’s appeal as a destination club for top African talent.
By bringing Lookman to Istanbul, they would complement one of the continent’s most in-form forwards in Osimhen and deepen their attacking roster heading into a pivotal part of the season.
Lookman has returned to the Atalanta set-up, but rumours continue to swirl that he could be sold in the January window.
