Pep Guardiola says he is proud of his team’s performance despite losing to Liverpool at the Etihad on Sunday.

Guardiola, in a post-match reaction, says he is satisfied with how his team played. He added that he recognized his team with the press, rhythm, and pace.
“We lost but the performance was really good today. Really good. I recognize my team”.

Salah scored from the edge of the box from a deflected shot off Dominik Szoboszlai’s pass in the 14th minute.
The Premier League’s top scorer returned the favor in the 37th minute as Dominik Szoboszlai doubled the lead for the Reds.
Liverpool took advantage of Arsenal’s 1-0 loss to Westham at the Emirates and increased their lead to 11 points on the log.
Manchester City remains fourth on the Premier League log with 44 points despite the loss.
